Turkey, officially known as Republic of Turkey is a Muslim country located in Eurasia (Europe & Western Asia). Turkey has been a candidate country to join the EU, and is a member of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership. In addition to the Customs Union with the EU, Turkey is part of regional free trade agreements (FTAs) with the ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization).
